I have divided my fight against cancer into 3 phases and I am happy to say I am done with phase 1!

  • Phase 1- AC treatments
  • Phase 2- Taxol weekly treatments
  • Phase 3- Surgery

I have come to dread the Red Devil in only 4 treatments so I am beyond happy to say that I am done with it. My body started to react to this during treatment causing me to even gag on ice chips. Even thinking about it makes my stomach queasy.

The rest of the week has been eh. The treatment was on Tuesday this week so I felt pretty good on Wednesday. Thursday I was down and out again. Thankfully I didn’t have the massive headache, but I still felt off. My head basically went from my bed to the couch and back. I also have to force myself to eat. Friday and Saturday have been laid back. I have just felt off and therefore relaxed to hope I feel better for the rest of the weekend. I have slept so much since Thursday, I didn’t think my body could do that.

I am looking forward to my non-treatment week before starting the new weekly Taxol routine on Jan 27.

And in case you missed it on Facebook, give this article a read about being kind to everyone! I couldn’t agree with the article more. I have gotten so much love from everyone as the title “Wanna feel loved? Get cancer” implies. It is obvious something is wrong with me thanks to my bald head, but not everyone’s trials are as obvious. Be kind to everyone as you never know what they are fighting.
